Dear media representatives!
On March 20th, the Astana EXPO 2017 National Company began accrediting media for the EXPO 2017 International Specialized Exhibition, taking place in Astana. Successful accreditation will last until September 9th of this year.
Accreditation is necessary to be able to cover any Astana EXPO 2017 event, both during the exhibition and in the pre-exhibition period; to receive informational newsletters; and to work in the Exhibition area and the Media Center,which will open shortly.
The procedure for mass media accreditation is as follows:
For foreign media, please complete the Kazakh Foreign Ministry’s PDF form, attach the requested documents listed below, and send to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that for simplification purposes, an Astana EXPO 2017 officer will be accepting accreditation applications based on recommendations from the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.

To submit an accreditation application, please also submit:
- • A letter from either the CEO or editor-in-chief of the publication,regarding theaccreditation of the relevant journalist (one letter per publication is sufficient);
- • The completed accreditation form (downloadableabove);
- • A color photo with a 3:4 ratio, in the format of gif, jpg or png (download the photo requirementshere);
- A color, scanned image of the relevant journalist’s passport (or their RK ID card, for RK citizens) in PDF format,attached to the same email.
Upon submission, the applicationwill undergo a special verification procedure not exceeding three business days. Subject to the application’s successful outcome, the media representative will be issued an accreditation card.This card will be requiredin order to work in the Exhibition area or Media Center, from April 1st.
