Today there was solemn party on the occasion of the Nauryz holiday took place in Moscow.
From time immemorial, reflecting the spiritual greatness of the Kazakh people, this bright holiday is a continuous link between times and generations, symbolizing the vernal equinox, renewal and the awakening of nature.
The party, organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation, was attended by friends of the republic - prominent Russian politicians, businessmen, cultural figures, scientists, chief editors of the leading Russian mass media, as well as the management team of the foreign diplomatic corps and international organizations accredited in Moscow.
Opening the evening, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation Imangali Tasmagambetov reminded that Nauryz is a very ancient and revered holiday in the East, which personifies the beginning of the New Year. "We are very pleased that the close friends of Kazakhstan today came to congratulate and share this significant day with us," he said, wishing everyone good health, prosperity, good luck and success.
Guests could enjoy the national color of an exciting and diverse cultural program, reflecting all the beauty and richness of modern Kazakh art.
Dance Theater "Farab" presented to the attention of female images of the white swan and Queen Tomiris. The performance of the collective even by dance was difficult to name. It was more like a short performance: plasticity, smoothness, lightness, harmony and sensuality of movements caused a storm of emotion to the audience.
The demanding metropolitan public was not left indifferent by the performances of the leading soloist of the Astana Opera Theater, the winners of the Russian Big Opera project Saltanat Akhmetova, opera singers Talgat Musabayev and Yulia Savchenko, laureates of international competitions Stanislav Savva and Darya Kaminskaya, pianist Alexander Strakhov, folklore anders.
The audience was also awaited by a fashion show from Kazakh designer Irina Naboko, who had already won the hearts of Europeans. This time she brought the original Miras collection to Moscow, which included unique national dresses of all times, embodied in dresses embroidered by hand with beads and rhinestones.
Impressed by the bright numbers, the guests on the sidelines did not hide their emotions, sincerely and warmly congratulated the people of Kazakhstan on Nauryz Meiramy.
The chief editor of the "Trud" newspaper, a native of Kazakhstan, Valery Simonov cordially greeted his countrymen. "I am happy to be on this March holiday in Moscow at the Kazakh holiday. Kazakhstan today showed itself in all its glory. We saw a great national art. It all adds up to a wonderful island that smells of the Steppe, Spring, growing grass," the journalist shared.
The renowned chess player, world champion Anatoly Karpov recalled that he often came in Kazakhstan, relates to the opening of a chess club in Astana, helped open two chess schools in Almaty. According to him, recently bright names have appeared in the Kazakhstan chess school. He admitted that he celebrates Nauryz for the first time, and congratulated Kazakhstani people on this wonderful holiday.
Famous singer and composer Oleg Gazmanov noted that today's event was a wonderful occasion to meet with friends. "This is such a fertile number, the day of the vernal equinox," the musician emphasized. "Neither time nor distance is not a hindrance to us when you really make friends, when you have something to say good to each other. Today I enjoyed the concert a lot. There is a lot talents in Kazakhstan".
The holiday was a success and, together with a piece of Kazakh culture, brought spring warmth, positive mood and bright hopes to the Russian capital.
