The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev negotiated with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán

After the official meeting ceremony, the Heads of countries held a negotiationon a wide range of current problems of the bilateral cooperation and regional and international agenda.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the trusting nature of Kazakh-Hungary strategic partnership and emphasized that the Prime Minister of Hungary was the first European leader to be welcomed by him in Kazakhstan.

“You know that Kazakhstan and Hungary are unified by common values and historical roots. Since my first days as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, I witnessed the emergence of our bilateral relations. We are grateful that Hungary became the first country in Central Europe where our embassy was opened", the President of Kazakhstan stated.

The Head of state highlighted that Kazakhstan was going to continue the strategic course of the First President, the Leader of the Nation, pointing out our country's firm commitment to reinforcement of the all-round cooperation with Hungary.

Kassym-JomartTokayev also congratulated Viktor Orbán with the 15-year European Union membership of Hungary and the 20th anniversary of joining NATO. The President expressed an opinion that the increase of the authority of Budapest on the international arena and the robust growth of Hungarian economy were the evidence of the effective policy of the current government.

Both sides expressed their belief that constructive dialogue and fruitful interaction would be continued on a long-term basis for the benefit of people in both countries.
