Music of the Great Steppe conquers Hungary

The concert of Mixed choir of Kazakh national conservatory named after Kurmangazy was held is Győr and Szolnok on November 26-27, 2017.

The concert was organized with assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Hungary and is timed to celebrate the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Created in 1944, the Choir presented works of Kazakh, Russian, Hungarian and Italian composers to the attention of connoisseurs of musical art. Especially the Hungarian audience was fascinated by the performance of the famous Kazakh works of Akhan Seri - "Karatorgay" and the folk song "Mayra".

Kazakhstan Ambassador Nurbakh Rustemov in his welcoming speech spoke about the invaluable role of the Head of State in the formation of modern Kazakhstan and the main achievements of our country in the 25 years of Independence.

In turn, the chairman of the regional council of the Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok region, Sandor Kovac, emphasized that for the eastern part of Hungary, which in the 13th century became the second home for the Kypchaks, the golden voices of the Kazakh performers allowed the concert atmosphere to be transferred to the native lands of the Great Steppe.

The concert of the Kazakh gave the residents of Sopron not only a good mood, but also once again surprised the high professional skills of new generation of Kazakh musicians.
