Commission on cooperation of the Republic of Kazakhstan with international organizations


The Commission on cooperation of the Republic of Kazakhstan with international organizations was established by the order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.112-r on August 16, 2017. It is a consultative and advisory body to the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the development of proposals on cooperation of Kazakhstan's state agencies with international organizations, and Kazakhstan's accession to international organizations, its participation, as well as Kazakhstan's ratification of international contracts.

Working body of the Commission is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to its rules, the main objectives and functions of the Commission are to draft recommendations on the following issues:

- Proposals on cooperation of the Republic of Kazakhstan with international organizations;

- Proposals on the terms of payment of mandatory and voluntary contributions to international organizations;

- Proposals on accession, participation and withdrawal

The Commission meets when necessary, but not less than twice a year. As of today, the Commission held 48. The last meeting was held on November 17, 2017.
