NUR-SULTAN, September 4, 2019 - At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister Beibut Atamkulov received foreign ambassadors with concurrent accreditation to Kazakhstan: Leslie Akyaa Opoku-Ware of the Republic of Ghana; Gustavo Adolfo López Calderón of the Republic of Guatemala; Carsten Søndergaard of the Kingdom of Denmark; Andrei Neguţă of the Republic of Moldova; John Mazza of the Republic of San Marino; Branko Rakovec of the Republic of Slovenia; Simon Marco Mumvi of the United Republic of Tanzania; and Manasa Tagicakibau of the Republic of Fiji.
During bilateral meetings, the foreign ambassadors were briefed on the priorities of Kazakhstan’s foreign policy as well as the social and economic reforms carried out by the Government.
The sides agreed to build contacts at the highest level, promote the growth of bilateral trade, find new opportunities for economic cooperation and develop cultural and social ties.
In turn, the ambassadors praised Kazakhstan’s foreign policy and economic successes achieved in the years since independence.
The Foreign Minister wished the foreign ambassadors fruitful activities aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation.
